Labor Force Structure (Employment in industry)

Employment in each sector is the proportion of total employment recorded as working in that sector. Employees are people who work for a public or private employer and receive remuneration in wages, salary, commission, tips, piece rates, or pay in kind. Industry includes mining and quarrying (including oil production), manufacturing, electricity, gas and water, and construction.
